Rowell Del Rosario is a passionate member of our Culinary team. He got the cooking bug at an early age helping his parents make dinner because they were too tired after work. He graduated from VCC Culinary program and forged his way up in different establishments throughout Vancouver. From a small family restaurant to iconic places like The Arbutus Club, Shaughnessy
Restaurant, Jericho Tennis Club, Joe Fortes, Cardero's, The Hilton Metrotown and most notably The Westin Bayshore where he worked his way up to the position of Chef de Partie.
Chef Rowell was also instrumental with some momentous events like the Molson Indy Vancouver, President Bill Clinton and Prime Minster Chrétien Dinner, Princess Kiko Akishino of Japan Gala, FIFA Women’s World Soccer Cup, FIFA U18 Boys World Soccer Cup and last but not least - Personal Chef for Dr. Jacques Rogge, President of International Olympic Committee of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. Having spent more than a decade honing his skills, he brings a lot of experience and dedication to the table. In his journey, he has achieved numerous awards, starting from Jess De Beck Award, Gold Medal Winner - Hot Food Competition and a Gold Medal for Ice Carving. The intent of producing high quality foods with the highest standards is what drives Chef Rowell to excel.
